 The Power of “Vel” – The Devotee’s Cure

Once, in a small village, a Murugan devotee named Venkataiah suffered from a severe illness. Doctors gave up hope, and his family was devastated. In desperation, his wife took him to Tiruchendur Murugan Temple and prayed earnestly.

That night, Lord Murugan appeared in her dream and said,

"Take the holy ash (Vibuthi) from my temple and apply it on his forehead. He will be healed."

With great faith, she followed Murugan’s instructions. The next morning, to everyone’s surprise, Venkataiah woke up completely cured! The doctors called it a miracle, but the family knew it was Murugan’s divine grace.
